Last July 2, NTC released new rules requiring mobile phone service providers to extend the load validity of prepaid phone load or credit to thrice the current duration. We dont know if and when this will take effect but this is good news for the prepaid using public. I bought 3 Nokia C1 units because i thought Nokia is still the old Nokia. I was wrong. The C1 is so slow. It takes time to get to answer calls slow. Also, it has a bug. It will just stop accepting your passkey or pattern and wont let you in. You'll need to bring it to the shop and have them unlock it for you. Of the 3 units, only 1 works now. One just wont open anymore and the other manifested the bug and i still cant find out where to send it. I also bought a keypad nokia some time ago. After a year, it wont function properly. Nokia is not the nokia of old. I dont think i'll buy any more nokias in the future.
