Load Expiry

5 days ago, i checked my smart load and got a confirmation message of having 244.50 pesos in credit. Since then i sent, at most, about 30 messages. Last night, i encountered the dreaded Check Operator Services error. It seems that Since my 500 peso load 2 months ago, i should have either used it all up or reloaded so i could have saved my 200 peso credit. No wonder these telecom companies are so rich. Goodness. 200 pesos straight to their pockets without even lifting a finger.

Lesson learned.

Nokia C1

I bought 3 Nokia C1 units because i thought Nokia is still the old Nokia. I was wrong. The C1 is so slow. It takes time to get  to answer calls slow. Also, it has a bug. It will just stop accepting your passkey or pattern and wont let you in. You'll need to bring it to the shop and have them unlock it for you.  Of the 3 units, only 1 works now. One just wont open anymore and the other manifested the bug and i still cant find out where to send it. I also bought a keypad nokia some time ago. After a year, it wont function properly. Nokia is not the nokia of old. I dont think i'll buy any more nokias in the future.

Cherry Mobile battery replacement

Today, our secretary reported that the cherry mobile battery in one of our office phones. They called me while i was in greenhills shopping center. One would think that i can easily find a replacement battery in greenhills of all places. No, no battery in the shopping area, virra mall or even in the cherry mobile store in the theater mall. Yes, their store doesn't carry a battery.

Smart Enterprise Customer Service

I am always raving about Smart Communications when it comes to serving their customers in the Smart Centers. Compared to wasting at least 2 hours (pre covid) in the Globe Center for a simple account issue, the same issue will get resolved in a Smart center in less than 20 min. Post covid quarantine, the same still applies for smart. I cant tell for Globe because i switched our accounts to Smart. The problem now lies with Smart Enterprise. Because of how i liked the customer service for individual accounts, i assumed that this would be the same for corporate enterprise accounts. I was so wrong. The speed and quality of service is the same. The customer service is so different. You cant transact enterprise accounts in the Smart Centers. You need to call or email. Calling usually gets some results but limited. Email.... takes a long time. You will get an automated response immediately but an actual response from a person on your concern takes days. One issue lasted a few months....
